It makes zero sense - this was a signing that would have made sense 2-3 seasons ago as an understudy to Coleman not now when we need an instant replacement even if its a loan with an option to buy or whatever.

….no reason why this lad couldn’t share the workload with Coleman, it seems an ideal scenario to me. Coleman is still doing a job, good timing to bring in a really progressive young RB who can win that spot.

Much prefer this to paying £30m for Aarons at RB.

He was in the Scottish squad for the Euro's. He must have been identified as one for the future. If you're good enough etc etc. Even if you play him against the so called lesser teams and save Seamus for the big games.

The lad at Southampton just got MOM against United. It's a yes from me.
