This. We registered interest before the Euros. Was all agreed after the Euros, but as we all know with FFP & Premier League P&S rules, We needed to get players out the door first and we failed to do that Dumfries got impatient Inter made some money and came in for him.

With Regards to Coleman he signed a new deal, Benitez retained him as Captain so really can’t see someone coming in to take his place this season, will most likely be an under study like this kid from Rangers.

like most on here I want Coleman to be replaced by better. Great servant but best days behind him to do it on a consistent basis.

He is not great in possession and gives the ball away in dangerous positions.

He failed at Chelsea and failed at Villa.

You can question Delph, but Barkley is not the solution. That boat has sailed.
