I don’t get this. Richy is under contacted for three more years. It’s such late in the window there won’t be any decent replacements with fair fees. If that French club lose their player to Real that is is their problem. Remember they want a 50p loan for Kean there is no need to do them favour.

We are in now position to say no. A bang average midtable team cant refuse any CL club, we prob cant even refuse a EL club.

If we refuse we keep an unhappy player and whos value will go down.

I don’t think we should sell at this stage but who knows what has been agreed between the player and the club? Everton will have a valuation and they could well have promised Richarlison that if a club matches that valuation they won’t stop him leaving.

I would have zero faith in us buying well if we do sell him though.

Not normally one for defending the club of late, but you're wrong in this instance. City made their intentions clear early doors and Villa had decided to sell and use the money to rebuild. Everton had no plans to sell Richy and this Mbappe thing came as a shot out of the blue late in the window.

Anyway PSG want to hold onto Mbappe, who is also available for free next year, so none of this may happen anyway

I’m a big fan of St Maximin - he’s entertaining at least. But I wanted him as an Iwobi upgrade, he’s not a Richarlison replacement.

We did hoping them would buckle and just pay the money but they didnt. He is now going to Juve on loan.
