More like 300k a week and that’s exactly the reason we can’t get rid of them, they’re crap and on big wages. Horrendous transfer dealing over the past 5+ years is what’s left us in this situation.

Hopefully this summer is a lesson to everyone at the club to not do it again!

Nothing is looking certain at the moment that's for sure.

If we don't bring in a right back and also fail to replace Kean, for the second summer window running, then you have to say it's very poor by the club.

We have to get out of this habit of letting players go before we are confident in having their replacement set up.

That's what I've been trying to get at. Nothing this Summer has suggested we're going to land a £30m+ player today (Luis Diaz) and yet people scream murder we haven't signed one? People need to massively lower their expectations.

Strange isn't it. I'm expecting nothing. We've shown no indication we have any ability to spend money, new manager talking up previously marginalised players, decent start to the season and a new deal for Coleman.

Yet, people are getting themselves wound up at other teams signing players.

We have bought terribly in the last 5 years and the players we have bought with potential, we've wasted or given away.

Perhaps a window of reflection and calm might be better as even if we did have money, I genuinely worry we'd make our situation worse.

Delph - nearly always injured, Tosun currently out injured - no-one’s throwing any money at those two for a while! As for Davies and Kenny I’d hazard a guess they’ll both end up playing in the Championship once their time is up at Everton!

sure I read Rondon was only if they could agree to get his contract terminated.

we are just terrible at transfer windows and business really.
