Gonna phrase this carefully, because I was very critical of RM for bringing half the population of Wigan with him when they got relegated...

Does anyone see a player worth signing from any of the three relegated teams? I think Wijnaldum MIGHT be worth a look, at the right price: 11 league goals this season in a festering turd of a Newcastle team.

That Naismith at Norwich is pretty decent

After the need for a goalkeeper, I still think that our most pressing need is a total overhaul of our central midfield. Barry and McCarthy are a very poor partnership, and I think we need two first team replacements in this area, a defensive midfielder in the mould of someone like Wanayama and a creative midfielder in the mould of somoene like Banega.

I see people are getting giddy about McCarthy again, on the back of a decent performance in a dead rubber game against an already relegated Norwich City. He may have a role to play as a squad player, but if we really want to challenge the top 8, never mind the top 4, then we need far better than him.

Robbie Brady is very tidy footballer at Norwich, Amavi at Villa is a really top player. I like Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Perez, Janmatt and Ayoze Perez has the makings of really top player.

I want Kramer and Xhaka as our new CM partnership.

We want and derserve better than these.

I might take Wijnaldum and Sissoko as squad players only.

Probably get some stick but Wijnaldum, Mitrovic, Mbemba and... Shelvey are good players at the right price from Newcastle. Idrissa Gueye and Jordan Amavi are the only good Villa players. Redmond and Brady from Norwich.

Not saying I'd have any but I expect them all to leave for the Prem this summer.

I'd take Townsend from the toon...not a lot else
