Don't think we should spend anything like 30m+ on a player just yet unless they're in the world class bracket as it is. Not a huge admirer of 'marquee signings', sometimes they are there as a massive fan pleaser without any thought of how they fit into a team or system. I think Koeman will spend wisely. Rather buy 6 or so 15-25m players to reinvent the first team but with Deeney being rejected for 25m maybe it's a little optimistic of me to expect every 25m valued player to be a valued addition that will help us challenge for trophies.
