We just need to be patient, thats all, the club has been driven into the ground for the last 14 years, we have signed some of the worst commercial deals in history, we have sold everything, from Goodison, to Finch Farm, we have borrowed money on future earnings, we have borrowed money on Goodison, we have been ran like a Brothel.

Its gonna take time to correct all that.

Stones is replaceable, given the standard of players available at the moment. Lukaku is not. If we need more on top of that then we ship out Cleverley and McCarthy (both will generate acceptable profit and we already know we need to bring in top-tier CMs), and hopefully McGeady too.

Anyone heard anything more about Sneijder? Imagine getting him in at no net cost, by selling Cleverley for around £9m.

Ultimately if the players force their hands early in the window we'd be 'mad to keep them'.

It's not just down to us. If Rom's heart is set on leaving then he'll go if somebody meets our valuation, and so he should.
