Sig is the level of players we will attract and i'd welcome him at Everton.

A bit defeatist this. We should be trying to attract better than him if we're really going to step up a level. I think he's decent but I don't think he'd improve us massively.

We were never in for Mata. Like I told you all a million times, he is staying at Man Utd even Mourinho has come out and said so as well now.

Mourinho has said that Mata has a place in the squad like everyone else - Nothing more. In the same interview he also said Mata was allowed to leave Chelsea because he wanted first team football and that he will always let any unhappy players leave. Hardly stating he's going to build a team around him.
If Pogba comes in Mata will leave, unlikely we'll see him at Goodison but he'll go somewhere else.

I miss the old days annoying other team supporters with boss little songs like "money cant buy john stones" and the good old "u signed ricky lambert we signed samual eto eto..." those were the days. Way to depressing in here and the season hasnt even started

You've defo acted quite militant in regards to TheEsk and his ITK status, for some reason. I point this out at risk of being called an Eskimo, but I'm willing to take it. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for being sceptical and not believing things without evidence, but constantly accusing someone of being dishonest and insinuating that they're telling us fibs isn't the same thing. But I'll say that I don't think it's fair to put that focus entirely on you, as there have been a couple of others who have acted unreasonable towards TheEsk.

If sigurdsson rumours are true, I can also see us making a move for bony. Both linked well at Swansea. A Man Utd player will definitely be signed due to Walsh having links there, my money is on schniederlin.

Definitely a strong possibility of a Utd signing given that Walsh worked for Mourinho previously. You'd have to be Blind not to see that.

How many posts have I mentioned Esk? Go through my post history.

I am disliked because I gave news no one wanted to hear and now I have been proved right.

How many have Esk's sources transfer targets have we signed? Not one. I am not having a pop at him I am questioning his sources - they don't know anything.

Last I will say on the subject - don't want to cause any wars here.

Jose basically said that Mata was "happy" there for now and that the window is still open for anyone that isn't happy - nothing more nothing less!

Will Mata still be "happy" when/if Pogba turns up and whoever else Jose brings in during the remainder of the window that may diminish Mata's chances of playing??????? Crystal Ball time - no one knows the answer to that one yet!!

So I would suggest there is a bit more water to go under the bridge before you embark on your little gloat fest as the fat lady aint singing just yet!

Who's this Esk character then? What's he done. Why does the anger always manifest on a Friday? Do kids still take toys in on the last day of school? If not, why?

Who is worshipping him? I appreciate the info he gives but, like many other reasonable person here, I don't invest so much hope and expectation into it that if it doesn't come off I don't start moaning about it.

You have been subtly suggesting that Esk has been lying about his "sources" all along just to pretend he's ITK. That's different to just questioning his sources

...I've said it before, the situation and status of individual transfers is so fragile that they can change in an instant. The complication is that 3 different parties are involved, not to mention legal representatives and agents. That is a perfect storm for things to change.

I believe folk act in good faith posting information they understand to be true at a certain point in time. If individuals want to post blag information it's a poor reflection on them. I prefer folk to post what they know but we shouldn't hold them accountable if things don't always turn out as expected.
