As a Welshman I bloody love Ashley Williams. he's 32 now mind and Swansea would ask for big money.

Strange to think we had such high hopes start of last year with this squad. Martinez didn't do us any favours in building this squad for sure.

I do wish people would stop saying that. He was loaned out because Fulham wanted him off the wage bill. He played 18 premie league games for the team that finished 6th.

If it was up to me I'd sign Koulibaly and Mbodji for a combined 90mil and play them together immediately. If you can't win anything with the African death squad at centre half then something's seriously wrong.

Just putting this out there, age is just a number. If you want success in the next few years then don't worry about age when buying a player. I'd rather buy a player who's brilliant now at 30 then buy a 21 year old who you have to develop for 4 years. Might just be me however I'm right.

32 or not, £10M for a defender that can actually defend in today's market is a steal. Even if we get two good years out of him that transfer fee is £5M a year, some clubs pay that to loan players.

Maybe Jagielka's injury is worse than first thought, never liked Stones and Mori as a partnership.

To be fair to him he seemed decent at Stoke before his last season where it all seemed to go tits up. No idea why.

My issue is that he's been poor for 2 consecutive years so no idea why it would change if we got him.
