Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Pretty sure Sunderland have better deals than us so no I politely disagree.

That might be true, I have no idea but I only said success on the pitch is the most important factor in determining your commercial income. A good commercial director may improve it a bit, eg Sunderland but they're not going to get you commercial deals that mean you can compete with teams with a worldwide fan base.

I dunno how much better Sunderlands deals are than ours but I'd be suprised if it'd be enough to make any significant difference to their ability to compete on a higher footing.

Transfer season wouldn't be so bad if these ITK's didn't think them selves to be the be all of what's going on. They are a bunch of ball ticklers that would take even give you a few strokes before they are onto someone else saying they are a done deal.

Couple of pints of Chang this afternoon mate?????????????

Anybody who is an ST holder not going next week as a protest at our awful abysmal showing in the transfer market ?? Kill Ron, Sacrifice the Mosh on the pitch at half time FFS !!

Just on a common sense level, the idea of only allowing your kit to be sold on one website, and then even more bizarely, one brand of shop in the world, was a real smart move like.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm haven't been flapping about the transfer situation and I'm still not. If on September 1st we haven't brought some major reinforcements into the squad (including at least one "marquee" signing" - then I'll contemplate the idea of flapping. But until then, I'm trusting in the new regime and the plans they have in place for the club. I'm chilled. :pint2:

What I am saying is we cant attract the top stars at the moment as they probably see us as a sinking ship

i'd wait until they all start turning us down before saying that. Wouldn't exactly say man city and their multi billions are attracting top stars atm. Chelsea? Nope, Arsenal? Spurs? RS? None of them are buying top top stars, only united so far really.
