pretty similar to Tottenham when they sold Bale and yet they replaced him with a heap of players (not saying they were all successful but at least there was ambition...)

Tottenham have an advantage over us in this respect - they're a London team. And I don't remember them buying any "world class" players to replace Bale.

The crushing lack of ambition is sickening.

Ambition is great - but it also has to be measured and be realistic for it to be realised and the circumstances right for it to have any chance of success.

For example - I still harbour ambitions to have a number of Eastern European pole dancing super models visit me on a nightly basis to do their scantily clad thing and then lick around my nether regions until I scream Armageddon!

But its probably not going to happen and instead I'll have to accept that for now its going to have to be Mrstoffee, who might be getting a bit tatty round the edges and isnt going to play ball because its not my effing birthday and she aint doing that sort of thing anymore.

But I'll keep the dream alive - could win the Lottery tonight and then all bets are off.
