if he had join us, in 2 years he would be an english international his price tag would be 13-18 m.

To have become an England international in 2 years he would have actually needed to play a load of games for us, the problem for Byram is that he is nowhere near the quality of Coleman, so he would probably only have played when Coleman was injured.

Full backs are vital to how Martinez sets up, it's no lesser a position than anywhere else and we need cover and competition for it.

The lad is 22, been playing at Championship level and is still only potential so I don't think it's a massive loss tbh...potential to be one...but not something we should lose sleep over
