I agree. He looks a class act, has been really patient, and deserves a proper run in goal for that. Big, brave, good passer with hands and feet, seems to communicate well, good at the spectacular stuff.

I think next season we're good to go for at least a top four place without any major signings. Niasse if hes good and the Swiss forward could be all we needed.

(This is on the proviso that we keep our star players)

Hiya mate
Welcome home.

You're wrong. You should accept it...

He's played for two clubs in his career.

1. The club he started at and his boyhood club and the club he still supports
2. One of the biggest clubs in world football, under one of the best managers in history, where he has won pretty much everything possible in the English game and in Europe, whilst playing alongside some of the best players in the world and has played at a consistent level there for 13 years

That makes him a mercenary?

By that right so is Lampard, or Shearer, for example.

State of your argument

And yes, he may be past his best. But so was Barry, who has done brilliantly for us.

Rooney's got plenty left in him, and coming back here would, I believe, get the best out of him.

tl;dr mate

He's a mercenary. Accept it. Deal with it. The emotional stress might break your heart, ruin your marriage and destroy your career but you need to deal with it.

EEZ ALSO SUCH A BLEW THAT EE LET IS KID SUPPORT VILLA!

What signs are there at the minute that they don't want to

Plus they know theyd get mad money from china or a decent fee from a psg or someone so why give him to us for cheap

Not saying there are signs. But if they want someone like bale or Rinaldo for example. They could offload Rooney and use his wages to pay there salary. Rooney won't be worth his wages in a year or so and they are not stupid. They wouldn't want a Kevin Campbell situation like we had. Paying some old over the hill player massive wages despite him not being a regular and him also not acceptin a move because nobody will match his current wage. Can persie was let go for exactly the same reason
