We need a goalkeeper more than another CB as Braithwaite has proved more than capable.

I'd agree with that.. I've maintained that we should be giving more young lads a go during the end of this season without the pressure of crowds, Gordon and Braithwaite have both come in and done well possibly saving us 10s of millions, I'd like to have seen Simms getting some time.. maybe in the last game.

If we're going for quality, we need better than sarr surely? If we go for him, he'd be a project signing. I mean he'd be fine if we got rid of walcott and iwobi, because he could slowly be integrated as a backup option. When i see us buying a right winger I'd really hope we get someone coming to their prime years who have a record of scoring loads of goals. Id want more of a finished article than sarr, has he done much bar the RS game?
He also cost Watford £25mil + .. not cheap and they’d expect quite a profit if still in premier league. Surely better value out there?!

I would guess that they want a centre half to come straight into the team, in which case it wouldn’t be Branthwaite that would be affected, it would be one of the more senior players. I do think people are forgetting that there’s more to being a centre half than just heading it away from the box. If Ancelotti wants to play out from the back and/or defend high up the pitch then a new centre half is important because the ones we’ve got can’t do it. If he’s happy setting up the way we have recently then I’d agree there’s no real need to change the personnel.

Whilst i agree with what you are saying, Braithwaite is very good from what i have seen at playing out from the back, he always looks to play forward to the midfielder who drops, watch next time.
Also i think Keane has stepped up since the restart
