I honestly cant say what Ancelotti will go with outside of a CB, RB & CM as I dont think he is happy with most of the team mate.

As I said before - he only trusts Bernard for half of the season at home and he barely plays Iwobi - thats our LW options

He has Walcott at RW and has mentioned the need for more output/goals out wide - thats our only option outside of Richarlison at present.

DCL has scored goals but Ancelotti has said he needs to improve his finishing/movement in the box

Kean barely gets a game

Tosun wont get a sniff & Niasse is off


For me I can see Ancelotti signing a CF, LW & RW or at the very least 2 of those positions with Richarlison playing in whichever of the positions not strengthened in.

If hes true to his word about fighting for CL next season then he'll be opening up the chequebook imo - he knows what standard is required at that level more than our previous dud managers.

Depending on his view of Sidibe and Gbamins fitness, then I see RB and RW as our number one priorities. We simply can’t go into another season with Coleman and Walcott as first choice right flank. Gomes and Gbamin will hopefully be less of a concern but could do with another first choice player in there.

We need transfers that mean Siggurdson Schneiderlin Coleman Walcott Davies Keane don’t have to play for us anymore. I’ve got nothing against any of them personally (well except for Siggurdson and Schneiderlin who i loathe) but they’re just not good enough for the top end of the prem and that’s been proven year after year.

I see CM, RB & CB as the 3 certainty signings at this stage.

I personally think we'll sign atleast 2 of those positions with Richarlison being utilised in whichever position we dont sign / Carlo feels is his best position going forward.
 
Ive wondered could the Grealish and Maddison round about suit us, both are vital to their systems at their clubs and if either left they will be looking to fill that gap. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gylfi end up at Villa or Leicester.
 
Does Eric dier still get first team football at spurs? Wouldn’t mind him if price was alright, ability to play defence or midfield would help us a lot, and has connections with us from when he was here before

Maybe, the thought just struck me as they tried to sign him before, have the same player recruitment team in place and may loose Maddison. Trying to think who else they could look to replace him with, Grealish maybe.

Be a good move for Gylfi as well, CL football a strong possibility.

All hypothetical of course.
 
Some of Carlo's incredible Milan teams weren't exaclty young. He is experienced in managing older players and getting the most out of them. So if he actively wants a 30 year-old Allan and thinks he will improve our side, go and get him!

It feels good being able to completely trust a manager. I definitely would never have trusted Martinez' or Silva's judgement quite as much.

I think there’s a good chance we’ll go past Leicester this summer with Carlo here now.

We were neck and neck at the end of last season but they kicked on and we regressed but that shows how quickly things can change and with Carlo we go have a trump card.

I doubt he would go to Leicester ( Grealish) if they sold Maddison, would he see it as lacking ambition?

Thinking about it I can’t see any off the top 6 wanting him or needing him. Utd have been linked, but they’ve just bought Fernandes. Arsenal maybe, but they would need to shift Ozil. And he would cost 20mil to cancel his contract and add another 30/40 down payment for grealish, I don’t think Arsenal have that type of money.

Spurs have Ali and Le Celso as number 10/attacking midfielders.

So maybe we have a chance if we want him.
