RW we buy has to be direct and threat in and behind far too many of our wide players want it to feet, hopefully we get lucky and get one who can do both.

CM: We need a player similar to Allan, watched Napoli a fair bit and it’s safe to say he makes Fabian Ruiz better, Ruiz has some similar traits to Gomes.

CB: one able to comfortably help us beat the press alongside Holgate.

RB: Can we just reverse age Coleman back to 2013/2014 standards please.

I would love us to sign:

RW: Sarr £40 million
CM: Allan £25 million
RB: Arias £15 million
CB: Gabriel £20 million / Silva Free

If Bernard leaves then Everton Soares at LW

Know how Ancelotti's system works we need two playermakers. One in an attacking sense the other in a pure playmaking sense. We need a couple of defenders and could use a striker although it isn't as dire as it used to be due to Calvert Lewin.

As the manager has said, his players that play wide normally play between the lines. What he means is they are more playmakers than true actual wide men. Think Kaka and Seedorf or Isco and Rodriguez. That's the sort of Combo we need and without quality in those roles this plane won't even leave the ground.

Ive been thinking...

When Coleman plays we have 4 in defence but without the ball this becomes 3 at the back.

This may actually work for Kenny who has also played at CB in his youth.

Also, if the links to Todibo are true, he has played RB and DM in the past so could be adapted to playing that RB role due to his versatility.

Hes a good passer so can play out from the back (as weve seen with Pickford playing it short) and very athletic so can keep pace with quick opposition wide players as well.

Wonder what your thoughts on this are @Eggs ?

Wasn't it exactly the opposite yesterday? Coleman marked Mane the whole game so that is pretty clearly a standard RB position but in our limited spells in possession he moved a bit more central and Digne pushed up higher making it a back 3.

Yeah well spotted...

With the ball we go 3 at the back :)

Without its a 4.
