Tosun is on mega wages, he is on over a 100k a week. If by some miracle we can get rid of him Bolasie and Sigurdsson permanently this summer and get Sanford wages off the books on loan then we are in a much healthier position in terms of our wage outlay.

I’d love to ship them but I doubt it will happen. There on too much of a wedge to consider going elsewhere. We may manage a loan at best.
I doubt Siggy is going anywhere though.

None of our top earners are value for money there.

We really need to be getting rid of Bernard and maybe Mina as well.

Mina is okay but expensive at 120k a week.

I think Bernard is poor and will spend most of next season on the bench if we don't get rid of him this summer.

28 is a full backs peak years.

Who says its decent money?

Ive said a few times now, Carlo aint here to slowly build a squad, he wants to compete next season.

I looked for about 5 seconds and couldn't find it but I could have sworn there was something a couple years ago that showed footballers peak was earlier than what people thought. Like their peaks were brought down to 25-27. Obviously doesn't mean this lad is tosh since he's 28, just that something along the lines that the physical demand of the sport these days wore down the players faster/earlier.

I like Bernard but he definitely is outmuscled too often and his end product is often lacking. I could see him being very useful for us in Europe but not much chance of that in the near future.
