Would you be eating humble pie and hiding in your bunker if our strikers weren't inept?
Just like you hid in the hideyhole when we beat Arsenal, and when we still haven't set up at 4-4-2 as you've said about a million times.

Boring at this point lad, get new material.
It's funny though, if we can talk serious for a second, it is funny that he's gone with a 4-3-3 type set up mostly because the midfield is relatively good especially compared to the forwards. And it has worked in large part. We're winning midfield battles. But he just doesn't know anything but go wide and cross so we're still attacking the same way as he did at Burnley. It's just that it is a box to box player getting forward instead of two strikers.

Dyche is literally two thirds of a manager. He's great at organizing the defense and figuring out how to win in midfield and in transition, but there is just nothing there in possession. It's a shame because he's truly really good at the things he does know.

Maybe it doesn't sound that way but I do mean this as a compliment. He's brought more than I thought he would, just not enough.

We still have a one-time backup England striker to return, and all these teams we are definitely losing to will also play the other dross around us. Massive massive setback, but too early to cry really.

Didn't play particularly badly but when you have such diabolically bad forward players and a side not knowing how to attack you get results like this.

I knew as soon as they scored we wouldn't win, a draw the best we could hope for.

I don't know that we can 1-0 win enough fixtures for safety.

Honestly this wasn't all that different from Leeds. Villa are a better side than Leeds and we didn't get our lucky break to go in.

When you play a fine margins game by design you'll occasionally get the margins going against you.
Yes but that’s not purely down to the manager, he could be more attack minded, yes but 90% of our issues rest on he playing depth and quality with the majority of issues in the final third. You seem to think that it ALL just depends on the manager.

Stfu. The side looks way better under Dyche. If not for these refs giving us the fist and Gueye with a poor challenge we walk out with a win or a point at least
Sure it does. You can delude yourself if you want. I see 2 lucky wins for a new manager and 2 very much more typical performances. I think will revert to type and the rest of the season will be a tragedy. We can't score and we can't defend. We are not suddenly going to start beating loads of teams. the fat kopite won his first 3 games at Goodison, and look how that turned out.

I can’t stand Villa either, always seem to get the luck or the bounce of the ball their way every time when we play them. That McGinn and his permanently baffled expression winds me up as well

My percentage would be much much lower.

Simon Davies gets the nod today, 90% of everything good we did went through him. Pickford gets a shout for a quite remarkable save but I wanted to volley him with a banana-creme-pie for that awful kick that went straight to them and we were outnumbered.

Not falling for us well at the moment, 24 games in, just 21 points. Forest got battered. And Saints got beat to.

Like I said about today, I'd snatch your wrists of if you offered a draw at Arsenal on Wednesday. Dyche with a clear eye on as he hooked Onana when the game was done to save him that last ten minutes and a chance at another booking. Also thought Gueye got the ball but the ref could taste the decision he wanted it so much so none doin'.
