Not sure which match you were watching but we more than matched them...

Add a corrupt ref into the mix, and they were lucky.
Toothless with no quality anywhere. You dont need 11 world class players but you need 1 or 2 that are above average. Everton has a lot of crap players and the rest is average at best.

Another pathetic capitulation. No quality at all...defenders who cant defend or even clear the box, inability to find blue shirts with proper passes, good chances feebly not taken, no fight in the end. So disappoining after all the efforts of the last two games.

It's funny though, if we can talk serious for a second, it is funny that he's gone with a 4-3-3 type set up mostly because the midfield is relatively good especially compared to the forwards. And it has worked in large part. We're winning midfield battles. But he just doesn't know anything but go wide and cross so we're still attacking the same way as he did at Burnley. It's just that it is a box to box player getting forward instead of two strikers.

Dyche is literally two thirds of a manager. He's great at organizing the defense and figuring out how to win in midfield and in transition, but there is just nothing there in possession. It's a shame because he's truly really good at the things he does know.
Even with that - we're crossing okay for the most part but we have no presence in the box, because he's chosen to play Maupay, almost as if he himself doesn't know he's Sean Dyche and needs a big man up front. We have a big man of equally questionable, but unproven, quality on the bench in Simms too, which makes it even weirder.

He's not - he's a decent no nonsense manager but that's where it stops really. If he manages to survive he should get a year to actually stabilise us (as, even if you bizarrely disagree, changing managers ever 3 months is just not sustainable) and finish midtable, or do better, then he can go.

No manager whatsoever was getting a tune out of those and if you suggest Union's manager or something again you should honestly just ban yourself.

Also nice cop out from the actual fact that you bunkered yourself away when you were instantly wrong :)

After Arsenal in midweek it will be 1.2, afetr Forest it will be 1.0 and the decline will continue with the next 4 after that. Villa at home is our most winnable game in the next 7 games.

Lots of games left I know but the chances we missed today were absolutely scandalous, if we cant put them chances away I fear for us for the rest of the season. That is ultimately what has caused our impending relegation this season.
You may want to put some money on your predictions then given your levels of confidence and get a lottery ticket on as well. If we go down, we go down but losing hope, means losing the will to scrap and neither the fan base or the club can afford that, otherwise may as well give up now

Let me be totally clear here..

We were the better team on balance today and I suspect that even the stauncest Villa fan will wonder just how they ended up winning that 0-2... but the fact that we haven't got enough goals in the side ultimately means that performances like today will matter little for the rest of the season.

That was a frustrating and flattering scoreline which we didn't deserve to lose let alone by two goals. We created a lot of chances and through a combination of good goalkeeping bad luck and poor finishing we got punished after giving away such a silly penalty. Since they came back up we haven't beaten them and they are definitely a bogey team for us.
