Really tough game, I'd say 4 points from Brighton and Palace would be a great return, 3 points a good return, 2 points would be a realistic return, 1 point wouldn't surprise me either.

I've covered all bases I think. Fingers crossed we can continue the positive results and especially try and get some momentum going with the home form.

Keeping it simple with 4-4-1-1 is the best way to get a result at Brighton. If the folks at Brighton happen to reorganize then might have to go defense-heavy with 3 at the back.

You missed both games to be abandoned and a points deduction for fielding ineligible players.

Pats will become a crucial part of the time once he's allowed an extended run with Harri ahead of him. It's good that we have two extremely hard-working wingers in the side. Young is an experienced head and an asset to the squad IF used correctly. It was right to bring him back in against Burnley, but you cannot have him playing 95 minutes on Wednesday and starting on Saturday. Plus you shouldn't be guaranteed a starting slot if you've picked up six yellow cards and 1 red card within 9 games. It's time for Patterson to have some trust put in him by Dyche.

The side is:
Pickford
Patterson-Tarkowski-Branthwaite-Mykolenko
Harrison-Onana-Garner-McNeil
Doucoure
Lewin

Picks itself at the moment, and all 11 have earned the right to start.
39 letters in a back 4 is insane

Surely that's a league record?

You missed out 0 pts - but we won't go there.
Brighton have lost players and have plateaued from their high point.
We have gained players and are trending - for now - ever so slightly up.

It won't be a walkover but we can do this.

If we could somehow sneak a win in this tomorrow it would jump us up a few places and create a decent gap away from the bottom 3. What a great weekend that would be, been a long time since there was no threat of slipping into the relegation zone.

Tough but not impossible.

Brighton have a very strong aggressive attack and likely to start 4-2-3-1.

I think our only change could be at right back. Patterson or Young?

For me, Patterson and Harrison looked good v Bournemouth so he has earned spot but Dyche seems to have a soft spot for Young.

I thought we would lose at their ground last season and we smashed them 1-5.

Predicting 3-0 again, just because it’s a scoreline I could get used to.

Failure to win at Goodison Park would mean Brighton have only won two of their last 10 games.
Their poor form has flown under the radar but it is no doubt a consequence of their leaky defence. The Seagulls only managed to secure their first clean sheet of the season against Ajax at their 13th attempt.
EVERTON look well equipped to pick up a result.
The Toffees victory over Burnley on Wednesday was their sixth in 10 games, Sean Dyche’s side have scored seven goals without conceding during their last three victories.
The hosts should be able to deal with Roberto De Zerbi’s side, which is why the home WIN appeals in Merseyside.

You forgot the scenario where we lose both and get 0 points which is far from unrealistic. Let’s not forget how the seasons gone for the most part.

We are way over due a consecutive League win, 13months ago last happened - I cant work this game out, i am thinking the 3 ways, but whatever way Brighton have only won 1 in the last 7 all comps, with no league win the last 4 & losing the last 2 away. so this may be our time

It will be a tough game but we are going into it off the back of a couple of wins, with two clean sheets and four goals scored, so should be full of confidence. Going to stay confident myself and predict an Everton win.
