Just in from the game and have to say it was a pleasure to watch that type of football and level of commitment and confidence oozing through the team. It was worth the season ticket fee alone just to witness those two moments of sheer pomp and quality from John Stones....absolute gem of a player. Ross is becoming a consistently good performer, Roms one in two ratio can't be sniffed at and Seamus is back to his best. Barry was impeccable again, Galloway grows by the week and Fumes Mori was simply effective. Kone had his best game in the RBJ despite his recent goals, Cleverley is gradually settling in as if he's been a mainstay for a long time and is one of those players who just keeps the ball moving forward.
Gerard.....well, he's magic you know.....and Tim Howard was on form too tonight, credit where credits due.
It would have been a travesty had we lost - one of those games where the football is great to watch but a win just eludes the team. Palace are decent, make no mistake, but we were really, really good all over the park.

tbf, it's grim for every team (bar Leicester). Nobody is really taking the bit between their teeth and saying 'this title is mine' (bar Leicester). Thus, with 23 (!!) games to play, 'grimness' is a relative term.

Not really. Due to how wide open the league is we should, or youd hope we would with a new manager in his 3 season, make a stride or two.

But no. Same old Everton. Bottle it when the chance is there.

I saw it coming tonight. The old "we played so well but didnt get the result" is why we don't get top 4.

Thought we were excellent tonight with the crowd really behind the side as well. On another day 2/3 go in for us. Just need to convey a few of these draws into wins...special mention for Cleverly who I thought had his best game yet for us,

I scratch my head with Delaney, he is 34 years of age now and can't get anywhere the republic of ireland set up Internationally, considering Paul McShane gets a place in the squad I find it baffling.Proper defender.

Delaney fell out with Keane and has retired.

People laugh at Palace Fans when they say he is a really good PL defender considering the levels and teams he has played at but he just seems to get better with age, proper old school defender.

I do realise I'm putting a negative outlook on what many of you consider to be a positive performance, but it drives me round one when you look at the quality of our side and the results we get. Bournemouth and Palace, we should have won, but that's always the case with Everton. It's always "but if it wasn't for the pitch invasion" or "the lucky defending" or "that lapse in concentration". That isn't what winning sides do. We may have played pretty football but if we do not change our attitude, we are not making top
four. Even top six would be a push.

Just out of interest how old are you mate?

missed the last 1/2 hour, but saw the highlights. result seemed fair (damn post). given what Palace did to us last year this is progress.

<3 u Rom, make the man captain bob.

Every team needs an old school defender...lends a helluva lotta starch to the team garment.
