We need to get our sht together on corners. I don't care if it's not in fitting with our style but scoring 1 in every 200 corners while conceding 1 in every 20 is not sustainable.

Think this game is a fair reflection of where we are: not quite there. Too many draws. We look very shaky at the back. My heart was in my mouth every time they got the ball. That is not how you should feel if you're watching a team chasing CL spots. Mores had a bit of a mare, didn't he? An injury to Lukaku or a drop in form and we're also screwed. Great effort from the lads.

Tims dive for their goal was outstanding another corner another goal conceded, stuck to his line the forgot to dive!
His distribution all night was poor also!

He played well mate. There's no way that we should have let Dann get to that ball for the corner, simple as that.

Very good offensively, not so good defensively. Unlucky not to win the game, but we're never going to finish top 4 if we continue conceding incredibly soft goals from corners.

Glad to see Baines back, his forward passing was an absolute joy.

Played really well bar a poxy corner. Battered them but they defended well. Still feels like a defeat.

Fair result and entirely as expected. They could have won that and so could we. Neither side deserved to lose.

We played some nice stuff but they defended it well. Some good saves from TH otherwise the result could have been worse. They had a couple of shouts for pens as well. Shame we still can't defend balls into the box properly.

The quality in this team is good enough to go on a 6,7,8 game winning streak. It wouldn't surprise me if that happened one bit, that just makes it so much more infuriating that we're faffing about mid-table.

On the basis of that game.

luakaku is really starting to look a top striker now. So much to his game now and consistently scoring for us.

Del is still our top creative player, when he can put the ball right where rom wants it, brilliant to see.

I'm not his biggest critic but Howard is starting to cost us. brilliant at snap saves but can't command his 6 yard box and costing us goals through that.

Cleverley wasted in the middle. Could have been more effective with cross middle and clev and baines out wide.

and finally, we are on the brink of doing some great things. Horrible luck tonight but we attack like that for the rest of the season and we will do something special and give jags his captions moment with the cup.
