Think this game is a fair reflection of where we are: not quite there. Too many draws. We look very shaky at the back. My heart was in my mouth every time they got the ball. That is not how you should feel if you're watching a team chasing CL spots. Mores had a bit of a mare, didn't he? An injury to Lukaku or a drop in form and we're also screwed. Great effort from the lads.
Around 70 minutes, I was loving it. It felt inevitable that we'd score. Then we shot ourselves in the foot with classic crap defending.

Kone drops deep and links the play and allows Ross to push on past him. He did it countless times, even if it wasnt his greatest night.

Mirallas does not do that and changes the make up of that attack if he comes on.

To me it was working, and slightly better finishing would have seen us with 3 points.

I can understand not changing it further.

I agree...and Kone supports Lukaku so well , which is something Mirallas doesn't do. Can't understand the anger at Kone, he contributed a lot. We are a good side, but even better when he plays.

We need to get our sht together on corners. I don't care if it's not in fitting with our style but scoring 1 in every 200 corners while conceding 1 in every 20 is not sustainable.
we're just crap in the air no matter where it is on the pitch. Our players always get outjumped or mistime their jumps

Palace are a good side, they've been great on the road and we dominated them for large periods

We are defo improving and our football is exciting to watch again
