I don't have that horrible 'dropped two points' feeling even tho we did. I think the team played very well. I don't blame Martinez for not changing it up. What we had out there was working. Give Baines a bit more time to bed in and we'll start progressing. Palace are a good side and they were just given a really good game.

Best ive seen of Coleman in a long while. Very good defensively and looked fitter and up for it. Funes Mori is growing with every game which is a massive plus.

We looked dead on our feat again today. Maybe our style of football but maybe we dont do as much fitness based training than other teams. Seems strange.

Strewth. I can't remember a game where we dominated so much yet I end up feeling relieved that we got a point! To be fair to Palace they did a great job, a typical Pulis side well trained in the art, and the rest was done by their twelfth man - the woodwork. Deulofeu and Lukaku my joint MOTM, but a good team performance all around, although Barry continues to be a liability for a card and I was a bit disappointed that the ball wasn't played out to Bainsey a bit more often after he came on. It was a really entertaining game overall. We missed out on going to 6th but hopefully should pick up a fair few points between now and Boxing Day.

Understandably I suppose, but Baines looks way off the pace, and wasn't playing well before he was injured. I hope its just match fitness he needs, and not age catching up with him a bit.

I agree...and Kone supports Lukaku so well , which is something Mirallas doesn't do. Can't understand the anger at Kone, he contributed a lot. We are a good side, but even better when he plays.

He has assisted Lukaku numerous times in previous seasons but his link up play is different than Kone's. What Mirallas offers is distant shooting after cutting from the left. We have been attacking through the right a lot this season cos of Del so if we deploy Mirallas on the left with Barkley AM there are so many permutations.

Galloway was not performing well. Good to give Baines some minutes to get his fitness without weakening the team in any way whatsoever.

Disagree he marked Bollassie out of the game , and got forward well Baines was poor not match fit!

Just one of those games in which we were unlucky. Hit the woodwork 3 times and a wonder save from the keeper. Palace are no mugs nowadays.
