I think it’ll be the same as tomorrow apart from Branthwaite in for Godfrey.

Garner will be out on the right and think DCL will at least start for around 60 mins. I imagine Danjuma will start on the bench following dyche’s comments yesterday.

Our lack of options in attacking areas for the first game of the season is criminal.

It's obvious we need incomings but can we admit we had a alright pre-season? We look fit overall and there's actually a bit of a structure and identity (until we get near the oppositions box)
Yes but we've played teams many levels below us apart from yesterday.

I think we will be hard to beat this season especially at home, but i don't expect us to be pleasant viewing for the most part of the season.
We will see soon enough.

More pleasant viewing than watching that fat tory fraud [Poor language removed] try and manage a team.

Disagree big time there. There's a big difference, there's more structure and organisation and we're quick to counter with a idea of what to do. We actually look better on the ball as well. Biggest problem is the final ball.
Come on mate you cant look at us and see much if any difference in style of play, There was plenty of pass pass around the back and then hoof either from CB or Pickford. I still see a midfield that is so easy to get through unless were camping behind the ball.

We picked up the ball a few times yesterday and we got the ball forward quick no? Far better than we ever did under Lampard. Just think saying there's no difference is completely untrue and is not giving Dyche any credit at all.

The narrative is that Lampard was a 'possession based manager' and Dyche is a 'hoofball manager' I personally think there's been a improvement under Dyche both on and off the ball.

I went to every game under both and to suggest that nothing has changed just isn't true in my opinion. It might not be night and day but the players at least know what they're doing!

For me that's just it though, we are more organised but the style when we have the ball is very samey.

I am not disagreeing with you totally i just don't see much if any difference apart from what I've mentioned.
Maybe it will change with different players but im not convinced.

The Everton team i watched yesterday was no different in style from our last 5 managers.

We all know the financial constraints the club is under but i think we are progressing albeit very slowly . We need to offload a few players and that wont happen until late in the window as nobody wants them . if we sell Gray and it helps us to sign more players no issue with that . if we sell Branthwaite its a joke . i think the game plan this year is to steady the ship and stay up . Dont expect much more !
