When they want to, they play the counter attacking game better than anyone

Hugely frustrating that our season crashes and burns in Jan, but it's not as if some League 2 side rocked up to Goodison and schooled us

We got beaten by the reigning Premier League Champions in a tight game that we could have won. We had chances and didn't take them

If we use this as a learning experience and prepare well from this point onward, we can look to next season with some optimism

There was nobody out there today who were catalyst in them being champions. Morgan and Huth were there yes, but they've been a shadow of last season.

How bad were they?

The first was down to electric pace and a goalie who couldn't hold a party.
Their second was quick, incisive passing and a cool, confident finish.
Both goals - poor defending too.
