When they want to, they play the counter attacking game better than anyone

Hugely frustrating that our season crashes and burns in Jan, but it's not as if some League 2 side rocked up to Goodison and schooled us

We got beaten by the reigning Premier League Champions in a tight game that we could have won. We had chances and didn't take them

If we use this as a learning experience and prepare well from this point onward, we can look to next season with some optimism

Anything you saw today was more than I could. Just feel like we should wait til he's a few years older to start making judgments about whether he can make it at this level or not. Not saying you were doing that, even if it was insinuated, but we just need to give him time.

Again, it's not about whether he can make it or not, I just couldn't see what he brought to the team. On the evidence of today, any U23 midfielder could do the same. It was competent but thoroughly unenthralling.
