I would not have started with Drenthe, he is too emotional right now and Gueye had earned the starting place, why he was not even on the bench is crazy - the same with Barkley. Moyes played the starting 11 that I would have picked, but failed to come up with a plan B as usual.

If the Gibson - Fellaini midfield is going to work even better, we need pace and skill on the wings, something that Pienaar, Drenthe and Barkley have.

yeah same here, thats why i said from the bench, players like him win you games single handedly, we cant afford these players, when they're free you have to take the option, we obviously won't spurs will price us out of pienaar and we will end up having a miserable fisrt half of the season like we did this, hoping for january to save us again

Let's face it:

Liverpool are a big game team, they've been awful all season yet have one a cup and are in a final.

We however are not.

This was our moment, we are the better side, but yet again we bottled it. And don't blame Distin, we weren't that comfortable all match tbh.

Never offered anything going forward I'm sorry, Jelavic's goal was a MASSIVE slice of luck.

Disappointed, but expected.

you hit the nail on the head there Liverpool are a big game cup winning club we are not, just go back to the
2005 CL final if that was us who were 3 nil down we would have been beaten by 8

I feel we offered more going forward, when it was 0-0 and just after 1-0. After that, bottled, nothing.

Baines off for Anichebe aswell, WTF!??

Took a knock a few minutes after Coleman came on mate. it wasn't a reaction to the game from Moyes he was obviously struggling before they scored the second.

agreed totally, never have i bashed moyes until the last derby when that team was ridiculous, i wudnt be suprised if that game put it into the minds of the squad that we can't live with these, when in all honestly we can all so easily
I have wanted him out for a long time now. Yes I will always acknowledge what he did for us in the past, but I just don't understand why he is so negative in his tactics, never ever does he take any chances, and this despite being one of the least likely to fired managers in the league.

I would love for us to get Paul Lambert in instead of Moyes and I do hope that Spurs go after him when Wobbly gets the England-manager-death-sentence.

can't see spurs or man utd every going for moyes number 1. he never won anything number 2. he flops on the big day
man united will never bring him in when they see he can't get his side up to beat liverpool

Sad to see - its a team game afterall and eveyone makes mistakes...
He made a mistake, but he sure as hell knew it even before the ball went in. He is however not to blame for the total meltdown that happend. God we really need some new ideas and to put a few guys on the bench.
