Thanks to all the fellow fans, I was proud to be part of it with you. When people took pictures of my banner at the Green Man and then on the Wembley steps I had a tear of pride and passion......shame the players didnt share our passion.
gutted. But it wasn't unexpected. Their pact with the devil lives on. Am I bitter? Damn right I am
My United supporting mate text me saying - "Im still not over how consistently pathetic Everton are in derbies. Yet again they played with a massive inferiority complex and set up with all the positivity and conviction of a league 2 side playing a premier league side. Moyes has obviously done a great job at the club but has a lot to answer for when it comes to derbies. They will never get a better chance than that."
He seemed more upset about it than I was to be fair lol. But if he could see it, a United fan who doesnt follow Everton as closely as we do, then Im afraid a lot of other people will too.
Its embarrassing. And like I said, a black mark of Moyes' CV. No trophy, terrible derby record.
You let us all down mate, proud of yaself?
Well said LCAB.
We're all destroyed right now, but sure we all wouldn't swap Everton for anything.

devo'd here, absolutely devo'd
my misplaced quiet optimism leading up to today has indeed proved to be misplaced
big chance for us today to get rid of the bad ju-ju that's hung over us for a while, no trophy for fkn years, RS turning us over on the big games, honestly thought we could and would do it today, but no, not to be
now I cast my mind back to the pre Moyes days when relegation battles where the norm, and i fkn hated it, felt that the club I love were being torn apart, how I longed just for mid-table medicority at that point, wanted so much a manager who would come in and take us to the next level
well I'll be honest, Moyes has done exactly that, he managed to get us out of the constant relegation battles, and he did indeed take us to the next level, somehow managed to get us a Champions League game at one point, and for that I'll always be grateful, Moyes worked wonders for this club and I take my hat off to him
but unfortunately for David Moyes, the level he has taken us to is still not Everton's standard
yes we had to work hard to become an average mid table team as a logical "next step" in returning to our former glories
but this has been our lot for the part of the past decade now, and again it's obvious to us all that we need to take the next step up if we are to hold any faith in our motto
sorry to say it, but Moyes isn't the man to do it
thanks for everything David, but this is Everton FFS, where nothing but the best will do
You are so right. But let's not forget that the rot started in the mid-Eighties. After the glory years the then management failed to reinvest in the Club, the squad disintegrated and weren't replaced with players of equal calibre. That was shameful, and we've NEVER recovered from it. At least, as you say, we're not fighting relegation anymore (for the moment), and you have to thank Moyes, and even Kenwright, for that. But it's not good enough. Kenwright, for one, needs to relinquish his hold on something that's too big for him. As for Moyes, i would have loved to have seen what he could do with the funds to buy the players he REALLY wants to, but i'm not sure it's ever going to happen at Everton now, and his defensive-minded nature will forever blot his copy-book imo.
