There is no 'upside' to this. Talk all you want about the day after tomorrow and forgetting this and moving on...WE'VE JUST BEEN BEATEN AGAIN BY LIVERPOOL AT WEMBLEY WHEN IT MATTERED MOST.

You should be tearing your own entrails out...it should hurt a lot and for a long, long, long time. Never forget how painful it is. Dont let the manager and players get away with that dog shit performance so easily. They embarrassed and humiliated this club. This is a scandal...an absolute ****ing scandal that they've left us in pieces agian.

"The important thing is we finish as high as we can now"

**** off.

have you ever said anything positive?
this is horrible...we all feel it..

Listening to five live - and the RS fans are suddenly claiming Andy Carrol was a good buy and how he is gonna be massive next season (where they thinking that when he missed that sitter??)- what a fickle game football is and what a fine line where reputations are made/destroyed.....

That was terrible. The fans were great but the team was pathetic. Heitinga looked like the only player who cared. This was the one game where I wanted the likes of Cahill and Neville to start because they would rise to the occasion. I was wrong.

I don't want to see Cahill or Neville or any of the 'old guard' in a starting 11 for the rest of the season. It's time they were phased out, lets start now by playing the youth. We can't match Liverpool's transfer budget but we do have better youth players than them. As for Moyes, I don't want apologies, I want changes now.

Despite Carragher's awful game and Carrol missing out on a sitter's hat trick, Liverpool deserve to go to the final.

He missed multiple sitters. It makes it all the more painful to be honest, that they could have won by more goals.

Don't worry, we will ALL feel it, for a very long time. It just won't hurt QUITE so much as the days pass. If this wasn't a fact of life everyone would go insane before long.

I will never go to watch everton at wembley again. what's the point, we have been three times and bottled it three times. Once we got lucky that united reserves couldnt score and edged through on pens.

I personally dont feel that bad about it all.

For all the form, league position etc and massive chance to beat them and get to a final...one glaring facts remained -

David Moyes has only won 4 derbies out of 22.

Waited for that since 1989 and we came up well short again.

Absolutely sick. They were there for the taking and we absolutely shat it.

Just got back, this is one of the worst i have felt after an everton game, i feel tired and depressed,a silly mistake brought them back into the game and tbh after they got it back to 1-1 i knew they would go on to win it,proper gutted but this is what makes us evertonians stronger and makes the better times even better.

It's all my fault i guess. There was a bit of red on the label of one of the bottles of beer i'd got out. As soon as i noticed i put it straight back in the cupboard and selected another, but i guess it was too late.....

Moyes was always the big handicap going into this SF. He's a liability in Derbies. I said the other day that if we could hire Joe Royle to manage us against those tvvats we'd be home and hosed by HT.

It was the best chance we'll ever have of toppling them at Wembley. They were/are in turmoil off the pitch, with Dalglish hanging on by his fingertips and all his signings teetering on the brink. We had them at 1-0 without breaking sweat. We needed to be bold and finish them off. Moyes sent them back out to defend and to cower when we needed 11 strongmen on the pitch. Moyes HT teamtalk did the opposite and turned them into jellyfish.

I mean, FFS, how can we make Andy Carroll a Derby day hero three matches in one season?! That's almost an impossible feat to achieve.

If there's one thing we have to have if we're going to continue having to put up with being a mediocre, mid-table team it's a fighting spirit against Liverpool twice a season. Minimum. Moyes's is not the man for the job. He's a shithouse where that fixture is concerned. There's no debate about that. They have his number. He knows it too. If I was Moyes I'd be ashamed of that record against Liverpool. It is completely unacceptable.
