Hahahahahaha....

Wait...you're being serious.

Hahahahahaha......

all about opinions. lloris is one of the best in the world. friedel is keeping him out and has been top notch for years in the premiership. cudicini was always a class act at chelsea whenever called upon.

Not on the wind up here at all, but just giving a Newcastle fans view.

1st half we should and could have been 3/4-2 down, you got into far better positions and if Jelavic hadn't knacked himself early doors you may well have found the other goal(s) that would have (in my opinion) killed off the game. Baines and Pienaar were top rate down the left, Perch should never have been at right back where he's always looked suss and the lightweight Anita never should have been put up against the likes of Fellaini in the centre.

the one positive I could take from the 1st half is that despite playing like a pub team we still created a couple of chances.

2nd half was a different story, switching to 2 up front and swapping anita and Perch around was brilliant for us, and it's to Pardew's credit he wasn't afraid to change things (Shouldn't have got it wrong in the 1st place, mind).

Now we had more bite in the middle and more mobility down your left, added to the pressure the Ba and Cisse put on your back four we were able to finally get a foothold. The performance in the 2nd half had a lot to do with the **** being put up the team by the management team. Pardew was right to be pissed off, such a gutless performance.

I don't think there's any controversy, Fellaini was onside, Anichebe's goal should have stood. Shocking decisions by the officials, no comfort I know. But just don't go into work tomorrow thinking the Mags agreed with the ref.

Worst thing is, if you took away those two aberrations, that was a great Premier League game. Nobody will talk about Baines in the 1st half, or Ba in the 2nd. It'll all be goal line technology debate.

couple of asides, I thought a few of your lads were lucky to stay on the pitch, and reading your match thread it seems you agreed. Neville wasn't malicious just late a few times and should have seen a 2nd yellow, but Fellaini's stamp was very naughty. Proud when Harper downplayed the collision and liked seeing Distin and Cisse enjoying the private battle they were having.

Also, rumours going around the Gabriel (Squidward) Obertan refused to get ready to be subbed on, anyone at the game see/hear owt about it?

End of the day I expected a humping and up until Ba's 1st I wasn't surprised it was on the card, much better performance in the 2nd half and in any other game (without the ****-ups) a turn around worthy of a point.

Good luck with the rest of the season and before I forget, the Hillsborough tribute was a touch of class.

we didn't bring our shooting boots tonight and still scored 4, the top teams will rip you apart this season.

Still pretty annoyed about this. It feels like we lost.

exactly, the problem is, these injustices seem to happen to us against teams we're in competition with. i.e. the derby last season against a team we would finished one place above. the 2-3 against villa when we were fighting for europe, and now to a lesser extent newcastle, who thankfully i think will finish a few places below us

Careful mate, different opinions are discouraged around this time of the day on here.

A point's a point I guess, gutted about the missed calls like.

Couldn't they just acknowledge the poetic justice of Big 'Dat Heart' Vic scoring the winner and let him have his moment? Some teams have no appreciation of a fairytale ending do they. I heard off my mate's dog that Ba laughed all the way through Up.

All the way through.

You can't knock the 1st half performance last night other than the failure to finish a team on the ropes off - it's what makes the difference between the top teams and the rest. We created and missed enough clear chances to win three games, and that was the real reason we threw away two points....the officials were wholly incompetent and spoiled a really good game, and whilst they clearly affected the result had our finishing been above average it wouldnt have mattered.
We have a knack of conceding ale-house goals straight down the middle - to be honest it pissed me off more than the officials because I've been hearing Jagielka for days saying how he was relishing playing against two quality centre forwards....well, they wiped his and Howards arses last night. Big English centre half and he got undone by the Senagalese pair....Howard had three saves to make all night and only called one right. Not a knee jerk reaction but the sooner Distin and Johnny are reaqquainted the better for me, and I can see wholly why Moyes made a play for Butland in the window because as much as he's a decent keeper Howard always has a mistake in him. It's a personal opinion - I've never considered him top level, and being coached by Chris Woods doesn't help. Phil Neville showed last night that sadly he's no longer able to be a starter, certainly in centre midfield, and it showed with Leon out of position too.
Lots of positives though from last night especially some of the link-up play in the first half. The Hillsborough tribute showed that we have class and dignity in abundance at this Club. If the business was as polished we would be competing at the top level.

Yeah well put first half we were superb.
As soon as jelavic went off we seemed to lack a lot of movement even though vic played well.
Neville in midfield should never happen again and why moyes never replaced rodwell beats me

Cant argue with too much of this. Im absolutely fuming this morning, the officials were terrible. But what pissed me off just as much was Jags none attempt at defending their 2nd, the ball trickling past Howard for their 1st and the overall displays of Captain Pip and Osman. Phil Neville should be nowhere near are starting 11 and at best a 3rd choice back up for right back. It really does feel like a loss

Absolute [Poor language removed] set of officials.

I hope we never see them at Goodison again.

Carts.
