What, Mr underachievement having more influence than Carlo? Give over mate we want to go forward not back to the days of plucky Everton knowing their rightful place behind the sky super 6. I'd much rather be here than there, even though today was torture.
Thats exactly where we are now right behind the top 6....West Ham in a position to move back nto top four if they beat Liverpool tomorrow and Moyes at least has fashioned a team of battlers from what was previously a team of no hopers ..Simply an observation no more no less!!!!

We were lucky to get away with a result against Leicester who were far superior to us for the entire game.

We got our comeuppance today. Welcome to reality. We are actually hopeless.

I suggest punting it up to the big fella. It's the last resort.

I know it might be hard to believe, but at the moment moyes' West ham play a better brand of football than us, well, at least more watchable. We are a very negative team. At least West ham can put more than 3 passes together without giving up possession. Everton park the bus and try and hit on the break a lot of the time, a bit like mourinho 's spurs. The difference being that spurs have fast, mobile players like son, bergwijn kane etc where it can be effective. We don't. I don't like the negative style and I'm glad spurs aren't generally profiting through this crap style of football. We certainly won't with our players. our squad offers very little in terms of options. The slowness throughout it is ridiculous.

They had Andy Carroll on bench. We'd have been better with someone like him up front and playing long ball.

I think we definitely have a top six squad. I think we have more depth than, say, Spurs.
Mate no chance. It’s like the Moyes days. Our first 11 can compete with anyone but our subs bench (bar central defence and LB) is terrible. We had no one today who could come on and change the game.
