Question:
Based on the fact that we would have been in complete reindeer crap following this Xmas season without the 3 points from the draws. Is another draw good enough against Forest?

Obviously prefer a win, but don’t feel confident enough to even wish for it

If we can't get a win from those above us, where do the points come from ?

Indications are that we are very unlikely to outscore the opposition - even if we went for it - so KITAP1 is likely.

Could do with an attacking winger and full-back in Jan.

Forest have clicked this season in the same way we did in a couple of seasons under Moyes. Excellent organisation, hard to play against, scoring goals at decisive times and a couple of bits of quality mixed in.

This is absolutely a winnable game, but only if we are brave enough to go for it, which we nearly always aren't. If we let them settle in then they'll nick it. Expecting a close game either way.

I think this game has 0-0 written all over it.

Forest are as dour as we are but are more clinical and deadly when those few chances come along.

(we had gilt edged chances to convert the three Christmas draws into wins)

Our “style” of play won’t suit their counter attacking style so this will not be a game for the neutral to enjoy.

This feels the most winnable over the period but that’s probably because it’s ‘only Forest’ and people still feel they are in a false position.
Hopefully because it’s forest it gives us more confidence to go out and have an go instead of not losing which is probably the original mindset for the past few games.

Keep Coleman in as he showed a bit more attacking intent and will be good in front of a home crowd. Myko retained to handle Elanga. Broja and Beto in to give us a proper front three. UTFT

You make a good point! I’m probably not going to be disappointed if we play for a draw with the hope of a sneaky goal under counter attack. Just feel this is our best chance until we get a signing in Jan.

Has anyone ever played table football when the ball settles on the halfway point where neither player can move it, I can see this game being the same, they won’t come out and neither will we, the ball will settle on the halfway line and neither side will be adventurous to go and get it.

Harrison is getting really close to scoring, he just needs something to fly in off his lumber region to start the avalanche.

They'll be petrified of the sublime skill Ndiaye has shown, they are particularly vulnerable at right back.
