Spurs were by far the better team in the first half and Martinez was pro-active, changed it around and it worked. We were right in it in the second half and if not for a couple of miscontrols or slightly overweighted final balls we could have won it.

We did well in restricting them to long range shots and it was a split second of switching off at the back which cost us the win. Spurs are a good team and that was a well fought point.

When he's blowing hot, Eggs, yes. He can be as bad as he is great.

That said, when you've got kone playing on the wing...Even I'd look good if I came on.

......yep, that type of player can be erratic but even when he's blowing cold his natural game is to try and create. He makes a big difference to our threat factors.

Hardest thing about today was that 3 points were there to take. We wouldn't have deserved them, but we could have done what so many teams have done to us and won a game we were 2nd best in.

Great point against a good team but could have easily been more had we defended that long ball better.

If he picked the right side to start with we could very well have bossed Spurs and won that, poor starting 11 cost us there today.

Kone broke down 9 attacks until he went off, and could have stood 3 yards onside and had a one on one with the keeper, instead he was offside.

Sitting him on the bench, moving Cleverly into his position and playing Besic with Barry would have made a hell of a difference to that 1st half.

It was all there to see, but I don't expect Martinez to learn anything from that today.

Spot-on. All of it.

Howard was fine today. His positional play was excellent, and turned what could have been difficult saves into quite comfortable saves.
Erm no mate, didn't have a save of note to make but still managed to showcase his fine flappy bird impression on crosses and that free kick.

Sometimes a manager stumbles on a formation, or a system, or a set up that just clicks. Think England years ago when injuries to key players meant they had to play Beardsley and Linekar?

Think similar happened here with Besic in particular.

I know he is a favourite of mine, but he was just great. Creative, aggressive, defensive, and a real team player. Think Martinez might have to rethink his Kone obsession after this afternoon too.Whether he will or not, another matter.
