Actually thought that Walcott did well when he came on. That was still disastrous management of Kean by Silva though.
Should have moved the lad up front and taken DCL off.
Iwobi and Holgate were good.
Shame about the Mina injury , and if it is a repeat of his last one then that also is shocking from Silva , but also the medical staff.

Based on tonight's performance, yes. We were garbage.

He doesn't deserve to start but I reckon he will on Sunday.

Doubt Silva will want to go with either DCL or Kean up top, meaning Walcott-Gylfi-Iwobi will be the trident of fear behind Rich.

It really doesn't matter who we play up front.
They are all going to suffer the indignity.

Dire first half with one drilled ball into the box... Second half much improved more directness and speed.

Richarlson good finish.

Holgate man of the match, clean sheet, partner change, assured throughout...

Watford looked better with Docoure on the field, at times it looked like we were running in treacle but we got the job done in the end even though any decent side would have been 2-0 up in the first half. Not a good performance in all honesty but Walcott changed the game and gave us pace going forward.

Job done, last eight. Well done.

Pointless having the two of them together, esp in a match like that.

Hate to say it, he may be handsome but he's not as majestic as we were hoping.
I'd have the hairless one.

Reckon with JP in, with Delph, it'd work much better.
Until then its up to Silva to make Davies work with either Delph or Gomes

Obviously if it was a three, Delph and Gomes or Davies could work more in the channels
and to be fair to Silva he doesn't really have anyone other than Schnide to play the centre.

Swapped my seat to sample the GT8 atmosphere... good on those in there for trying, but it's cringeworthy at times. Think it would take a massive culture change to introduce some ultraesque chants other than the three songs we've always sung. Enjoyed standing all game though with no issue.
