He is trying to change a style that has been built within the club for over a decade, These things take time, 4 months is not long enough to judge the man, If in 9-10 months from now we are still having the same problems then bombs away with the worrying and what not but some of the utter crap that gets posted on here makes me want to volley all yer mars in the rat

Don't talk sense Del, these nuggets need Everton to win to make up for their sh*tty lives, there's nothing you or the club can do.
 
I though Ossie had a good game to be fair, dunno why he's being crucified already. He was brilliant last season, got the call up and two games in now he needs to be out of the team? He seems ok to me. I think Pienaar had a stinker, Distin too was bad as was Mirallas.
Its evident we lack a creative center midfielder who can open up play cos we keep going left and right and then lose the ball while attempting the perfect pass which is not happening.

Have you considered that maybe he isn't good enough or he isn't ready. I couldn't give a stuff what Barca.
 
We had plenty of good chances today. Should have won at the minimum 2-0. Going to have to learn to put teams away though.

Before going all knee-jerk, Kone is on a new club with new players etc. He has played about 20 total minutes and scored more than any of our strikers last year and did it with a lot less service than our strikers had. Jeesh. It took Baines what 2-3 years to settle in. Give the guy a break.

Bob yes deserves to be critized for Naismith (even though for some reason I noticed Mirallas winded around the 55th-60th min again - not sure what is up with his stamina), and maybe for not starting Vic or Kone A. however you can't say that set up resulted in a lack of quality chances on goal because we had plenty. We have players worth Eleventy million like Fell in front of goal against a backup keeper, the onus is on the superstars sometimes too.

If Mirallas is going to run himself into the ground by the 2/3rds mark we are really really going to need a good backup RW. Naismith isn't an RW, and shouldn't be any near the RW position. Someone like N'Zogiba is desperately needed plz.

And you would have a point, if Naismith was poor. But he wasn't, not by a long way.
 

We'd be so boss if a W was 2pts. Who's idea was it to make a W 3pts? I want to light that man on fire.
 
I can't believe all the negativity. Yeah, granted it wasn't a great performance from Everton but I think West brom gave an outstanding display of organised defending which contained us very well. For those who are calling for Deulofeu, seriously? You want to put a foreign and very young player with no premiership experience in at 0-0, in a game where West Brom effectively minimised any space to exploit (see Meirallas' game).
