We played on the counter today because City had all the ball. West brom will come and just sit deep all game.
Plus I'm glad we will continue to play the Martinez way, as long as it's blended with the occasional direct ball to Lukaku. It was, after all, a combination of direct and possession football that got us 5th last year.
He said we are most dangerous from set pieces, obviously hasn't been watching us much of late then. Our set pieces have been terrible most of the season. Good to see us get a goal from one today.

I think a game like today suits us much much more. So called superior opposition trying to break US down rather than it usually being the other way round and we can't break down the team sitting back.
We need to try and get this going against the smaller sides for me. Not sure Martinez does though.
Besic put a good shift in today just a bit raw but he will come very good in time -a good RM buy!
