For a player who was good enough to be Everton's youngest ever player, who on a technical level was on par with any youth player coming through in the decade?
No. Obviously not. His story is a bloody valuable one for any kid in the Everton academy who thinks they might be ready to make it because they're the latest name training with the first team.

I have no idea what your point is. The guy's professional football career (this is apparently important to you) is probably mostly significant as a warning/motivation for up-and-coming players.

….unless you’re involved with the club it’s difficult to say, but I think he will be a good coach.
I watched that podcast with him on the ex players thread.
Came across as knowledgable and driven.
Seemed very open and honest about what had gone wrong in his career and how it might stand to him as a coach.
He's an assistant coach to the U14, 15s etc, it's not like he's been given the role of first team coach.
I think we're all very quick to slate the club for stuff like this but in a way it's what's best about the club.
I hope he's a success.

Sorry guru of the young lads. I’m positive Jose Baxter has got that job on merit.
No one suggested it wasn't jobs for the boys but it doesn't mean he won't end up being a good coach. He's only just started his journey. You do like to poo poo every single thing though of course so carry on.
