Depends if you would class Onyango as in that group or not.I don’t think anyone in the 18’s or 23’s has a long term future at Everton personally.

Symes and Schumacher had decent lower level careers.
I think there was high hopes for Schumacher at one stage, might have been England under age captain
Ok, I would say he will make it based on his frame alone. With the lack of depth in midfield we have in the squad I would expect him to get a few appearances this season now he is back to fitness.I do.

Assistant manager at Plymouth I think. He had a very good career in the lower leagues, over 400 games.….I remember Schumacher playing for England schoolboys, one of thre that season from Cardinal Heenan School (John Welch & Alan Moogan I think). Remarkable achievement for one school.
I think Schumacher is coaching down the leagues, he was a very decent footballer.
I thought Liam Walsh would make it. Not the biggest which possibly counted against him but great quality and will to win.
Phil Jevons was in that team too IIRC. I think he had a decent career in the lower leagues but could be wrong there.Injuries done for walsh and continue to give him trouble.
We were talking about Rooneys fa youth cup team though which is why I mentioned Schumacher

Edit - no sorry he was in the Osman 1998 team.
Michael Symes has had a good career in the lower leagues, Moyes never offered him a contract but Duncan Ferguson asked Moyes to give him another year and to take it out of his wages ( Ferguson’s ) Moyes wouldn’t relent and Bryan Robson signed him for Bradford City, he moved on down south then was with Accrington Stanley last time I heard about him.….the thing is, if you have a truly outstanding individual at that level they make a difference to the whole team, especially in the big games.
As you probably know, I put emphasis on the FA Youth Cup as a real indicator. We got the final with Rooney, I would be surprised if any other player in that team had a career in the game.
We’ll always have individuals highlighted in age groups but they have to be very special to come into the PL.
Franny Jeffers was in that team too wasn't he, despite being a bit younger?....yep, played in that terrific side with Osman and Hibbert. Hibbert a CM in those days, I saw him score a screamer at Gigg Lane against Bury.

Edit - also Cadamarteri? Who I believe is now an academy coach at SWFC
Yes I remember that game and the goal. Left footed volley in the top corner. Forgot about Dunne also. Very good team that.…yep, Michael Ball didn’t play because he was with the first team. Sean o’Hanlon and maybe Richard Dunne around that time. A golden crop under Colin Harvey. I went to the game at Blackburn when Osman scored a belter.
