Everton Youth Teams Thread

A slightly different tack, but we should be rigidly monitoring City ( and Chelsea) for their surplus to requirements . They don’t come cheap, particularly when we have no money, but Southamton could more than double the money they spent on Lavia tnis window even allowing for a% going to City.
Just seeing Burnley are throwing £19m on James Trafford.
Who has shown potential but for a lad who has only played league one football is to rich for our money.
Imagine what the outfield lads will cost

Don't know if he still counts as a youth player but I see Lewis Gibson did finally sign for Plymouth. Good move for him. He is a solid defender and good on the ball. Maybe never quite imposing enough to make our first team.

Outfielders cheaper because there's more of them. Most times better as well

….I’m on holiday and a bloke a few sun beds down is a huge Plymouth fan. He’s noticed me reading @alan ball books and came over to me this morning to ask about Gibson.

He says we had offered him a new deal so Plymouth are expecting to pay a 6 figure sum.

If your gonna name a short bench, why not name Mills anyway to be included in the match day experience?
He was injured, he had been on the bench prior to that, we also saw Reece Welch and McAllister on the bench.

This season I think Mills will be part of the match day squad and possibly ISS if he stays, apart from that I am not sure anyone else is close.
Welch will go out on loan.
Tyler Onyango may be an interesting one, looked like a prospect then slipped of the radar a bit, I know he had injuries but certainly physically he is ready....if he is good enough.

I would see that as a big win if Mills and ISS were on the bench for a fair amount of games this season.

Is ISS ready to be Mykolenko's backup though? Can he play a handful of 1st team games yet if needed ?
