Not just 16 year olds, they paid £12 mill for The highly rated England. U19 forward Patrick Roberts from Fulham when he was just 18 and have recently shipped him out to Celtic on an 18 months loan. He'll come back at 20 for the start of the 2017/18 season with probably some European games under his belt and them having a good idea if he's going to be Champions League material. If not, shrug shoulders , sell him on with at worst a few million loss , but probably a profit. It just distorts the whole youth set up , but it is what it is.
I've no idea why we've got another young GK , that'll be 5 at U18 level and another 5 at U21 level with the high likelihood we'll buy either a first choice GK or backup in the summe

City didn't offer Hilton another contract even though they are short in that department so surprising we Have got him In

Kevin Campbell's son Tyrese plays for their u16s and has scored almost 50 goals this year.

You'd think we'd be able to get sons of our famous ex-players to sign for us.

The City youth team at under 16's is frightening to be honest. We are competitive with them at under 18's and over the past 2 or 3 years have probably outdone them, but thats down to a having a very strong youth team.

They are miles ahead of us and just about everyone else at under 16's/15's. It is quite frightening really, but even ourselves, United & Liverpool who are all big clubs in the North West are a very long way behind.
