EVERTON U18S TEAM

u18s lose 1-0

u18s lose 1-0
Positives: It looks like there are 4 under16s in the squad, maybe next season will be better.

Negatives: Of the first year Scholars only Denny and the injured Hornby have raised any interest.Of the 2nd year Scholars playing none have raised any interest, and only Feeney , Evans and Beni , maybe Kiersey & Lavery on their good days, have looked worthy of professional contracts.

The Dallas tournament will be interesting to see if anybody new emerges in the way Beni did last year, but given our stars of the tournament were Brewster and Broadhead who haven't really forced their way through this season it highlights how far these guys have to go .

"Everton Under-23s’ Premier League 2 fixture against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday 10 April will now take place at Goodison Park - and will be streamed live on Facebook.
David Unsworth’s side are top of the table and could clinch the title with victory should second-placed Manchester City fail to beat Derby County on Saturday.
The young Blues were scheduled to take on Spurs at Southport’s Merseyrail Community Stadium, but the 7pm kick-off has been moved to Goodison.
Entry is free for Season Ticket holders and Foreverton members, with admission otherwise priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions."

good stuff, no reason they cant do this for every game next season.

Dallas Cup schedule is here for the U18s who will come over and defend their championship:

Sunday 9 April, 18:30 - vs. FC Dallas U18 Academy (smashed these 3-1 in the semifinal last year)

Monday, 10 April, 18:00 - vs. Maccabi Haifa

Wednesday, 12 April, TBD - vs. CF Monterrey

As always, there are 12 teams in three groups of four. Group winners and highest-ranked second-place team advance. Semifinals are 14 April, championship is 16 April.

I like that group, but FCD could surprise. They have one of tre top American academices.
