F1 2024 (and other motorsport) thread

Seems to be a lot of cry babies on here who don't like hard racing.
Moan when he's always winning but when it's a good competitive race then they still find something to whine about
Come off it, hard racing? He's turned into people overtaking countless times over the years.

Luckily for him he was earmarked as the golden boy very early on and got away with more than he should have, Fair enough.... He was a prodigious talent and F1 needed a challenger.

As others have said (and you'll admit if your honest with yourself) when he's under pressure he crosses the line from hard racing to 'win at all costs.'

He's probably the most petulant driver on the grid, it's just been masked as he's in a car that until recently was absolutely miles ahead of the pack.

A few seasons ago he was doing the same antics at the Red Bull Ring against Hamilton, I think at Turn 3 top of the hill, and exactly the same with LeClerc the season after. His massive Kopite following at this particular race makes him think the rules don't apply.

Genuinely hope he gets properly punted off one day. Karma.

Norris was driving like a maniac, I know he wants the win but he looked desperate.

He was never going to make the move on the outside.

Of course the move on the outside was going to work. Verstappen was going to run wide Norris would have a tighter line with DRS.
Andreas Stella was spot on, Verstappen has been allowed to get away with these things for too long. Always the victim never his fault. Kopites of F1

When a friend of his on the grid, and I suspect he doesn't have many, says he will lose respect for him if he doesn't accept some blame, you know it's bad.

He pretty much said to the press you can't judge me because I was in the car and I have experience, to which they said well ex-F1 drivers think you're wrong.

He kept shrugging it off. Don't get me wrong, Max is a fast and talented driver, yet the problem is that he allows his ego to take over. This puts others at risk.

The stewards report literally only calls him "predominantly at fault". And they did so for a reason: Norris wasn't exactly without blame for the situation.
It was inevitable what would happen.
One driver continually dive bombing at the same corner, against the other driver trying their hardest not to let you pass. A pretty obvious outcome!

Did Norris apologise for pushing Max onto the grass in Spain, or the dive bomb yesterday that forced Max to hit the brakes mid corner so that he could avoid the out of control Norris.
What about today dive bombing and pushing Max off the circuit.
The touching of wheels was not too dissimilar to Ocon/Gasly today which was apparently great racing.
