This Moshiri fellow lends a calm, calculated demeanour toward affairs important to Everton. I think we are under very assured helmsmanship.
The histrionic-riven "when!!, why!!, how!!" bed-wetters amongst our fan-base, need to pull their collective heads in (particularly those who have no credibility after their numerous clueless calls), and let the man go about his business.

Well said that man ;);)
Stands to applaud !!!!!!

I work in business development and there are so many things that need to be done before you can start putting together accurate timelines. I have companies that have been working with city officials for over 8 months just to get zoning and city incentives agreed upon. I would bet EFC isn't far enough along to divulge stadium information. Toffees aren't the most forgiving group when it comes to the board and our perception of being misled.
Moshiri is a businessman and the good businessmen I know keep information close to the chest. It doesn't do them much good to release that information publicly to appease the crowd.
At the core of my questions is to ask how, given the centrality of a new stadium up and running and creating revenue, the stunted commercial performance of the club can be improved. We hear vague assurances to the effect that this is central to the plan of allowing us to make space for more quality players and an aspect we do control (although outsourced activities wont be brought back within the club we're told) and this can be significantly improved. How? I dont know. And it's stuff like that which the owners/officers of the club could illuminate a lot more. Otherwise it's just the same old same old with continuity from the last regime to this.

You said it...why don't you heed your own incessantly droned advice and just pipe down for a while.

The irony!!

The club have no need to provide you with 'assurances' about their future stadium plans and what their proposed model is at this stage though.

Once they've got an agreement in place, together with a full costed plan and a funding model, at that point they will be able to share their vision, at the minute it's not at the point where you could expect them to share anything of note.

It amuses me how some buy a season ticket and assume that entitles them to demand answers from the club on various subjects.

To put things bluntly - we're not shareholders, we're customers. The club is a business and doesn't have to provide answers to anything really. Like any other business, if you don't like the service/product being provided you are of course free to take your business elsewhere.

When Moshiri is ready to announce his vision of the new stadium - he will. Until then, quite rightly, I would expect it all to be kept very much in-house.

The money side of transfers is so complex that it's almost pointless trying to speculate on net spend, whether it's the Stones money, whether it's the TV or Moshiri's 'own'. The only question we should be bothered by is 'are the transfer dealings moving the club forward?'. For the first window in a long time I think they are. If you include the deals for Koeman and Walsh, each acquisition by Moshiri so far (Stekelenburg aside) has gone to a premier league team and fronted up the money to take their manager, chief scout, or best player. Captain of Swansea? Ours. Title winners chief scout? Ours. Palace's best player? Ours.

The negative shouts on here are claiming 'yeah but it's only palace, it's only Swansea' but these are the same voices that a few seasons back were claiming that Palace Stoke Southampton etc. would all be overtaking us due to our inactivity in the transfer market. Now players, managers, and scouts, are in no doubt which is the 'biggest' club with the more ambitious project.

Still a little hopeful this behind closed doors even thing is something stadium related

Couldn't have put this better myself. Our squad is stronger than what it was at the beginning of last season, and we've promised at least another 2/3. How anyone can complain I never know, we've just spend around £30m on a player i'd descibe as 'decent'.

I think some people would prefer the days where we sign Denis Straq on loan and Jermaine Beckford.
