He did mate, the club would of been all over it, plus White has gained nothing by it, aside from the notoriety of having a billionaire friend. It's a mistake from Moshiri, nothing more, we should thank him really as it's an international week and being honest the bedwetters are entertaining.

Can you imagine an owner like abramovic doing similar? Can you imagine an owner like Ashley doing it?

The answers to those two questions should say why we'd be wise to be wary to hell going forwards about anything the club does.

I expect Bill to become Life President when the options agreement is executed and for Moshiri to appoint a heavyweight (in football terms) Chairman.
Thanks and do you have any idea when this might happen and does the role of life president have any real power?

I think once Bill is gone or moved upstairs then the new era can properly begin and the sooner it happens the better. After all if the money is there and I do think a good bit more than what was spent was available then Bill failed us.

Wow, cast iron proof there. The Echo 'understands' it's genuine. That's it.

No one hates the Red Echo more than me, but I have to admit that if the tweet was false the club only had to issue a statement pointing out that all it's communications to the media come through official channels. The absence of any such simple statement implies that it is true, unfortunately. I am gutted at the moment.

I think it's all a little bit over the top at the moment my mate, he's been here 6 months and is a 30 million pound striker away from having fans confidence, if this discussion is still happening this time next year I'll jump on board, at the moment, I'll continue to look at the bigger picture and Wednesday was only a 1/175 of it. When all is assessed, we have a better manager, better squad, Goodison will look better and the talk of the new ground continues.

For the record id rather have Moshiri than Ashley and Ashley did Come out and give a big statement to Sky Sports on the final day of 14/15 season saying he's there until NUFC win a cup or qualify for CL.......Final day of 15/16 They got relegated.

It's been a disappointing and confidence-shaking few days for the club, to say the least.

I hope some heads are being banged together internally and still more heads earmarked for the chop.

For me, it's best they hunker down and get on with fixing what needs to be fixed.

I would like to think Moshiri is at the least extremely annoyed at present, if not livid.

He can do his talking for me by ensuring TDD is never repeated and we have a world-class new stadium.
