No one hates the Red Echo more than me, but I have to admit that if the tweet was false the club only had to issue a statement pointing out that all it's communications to the media come through official channels. The absence of any such simple statement implies that it is true, unfortunately. I am gutted at the moment.

Not much good news coming from Everton for several years now, decline in quality, defence, league position, but this season is the first I feel we have declined in first team quality in many years, and sheer amount of money we spent to do it has made me properly stop caring tbh. Worst still with a new chairman, manager, back room staff and a revised sense of hope, its just made the contrast between hope and reality that much larger.

Not been this meh about Everton since the 3rd goal in our last 4 goal defeat against them lot across the park.

So I'm apparently off to wet the bed because I don't think doing as badly as we did in the transfer window is a very great thing, so for some reason that means I have regressed to a child like night time routine where I have lost control of my bladder.. I don't understand why if I'm honest... but then I don't understand why we have nearly spent a kings ransom on a winger that was not as good as what we already have.

The problem is, it could be false and it could be somebody supposedly acting incorrectly on behalf of Farhad which would make them look even worse (Left hand doesn't know what right is doing type of situation) and incompetent.

I really don't know what to believe, the lack of a statement to suggests it's true but there's the possibility the lack of a statement is so they don't cause further embarrassment.

That's because we didn't do 'bad' we have strengthened the first xi in 4 positions believe it or not, Spurs, for example, haven't strengthened their strongest xi. We have, that's why the bed wetter shouts are coming we are 4th with Sunderland and Boro to come, having made our best start since 06/07.

i understand being upset about not getting in more signings, but our first team is better than it was last season

I'm of the opinion the options will be exercised shortly. Usually Life President is an honorary title with no power or authority.

I hope it's done sooner so the club can atleast higher people who want change right now I honestly don't know if that's what will happen or when. I know we've brought koeman in, but if he's been told things aswell as us fans I don't know what's nxt. We need goals targets achievements but we need friggen money!

I doubt he would have sold had that been his mentality. He knew his share holding and influence would be eroded, especially with the triggering of further options.
