Look at us LADS, all having a fine Friday summer evening sat on the internets talking about Everton loans and budgets.

We're truly elite fans us.

Im just utterly knackered. Wish the flaming internet stopped people buying school stuff over a bank holiday.

Back on topic. Moshiri got bladdered the other night and texted Jim White I reckon.

Lets face it, we all have done it on here.

I think most of it has gone well over my head. We are basically lending money to buy a stadium?
I think it's a combination of equity and loans with Bill moving into a figurehead position.

I think all the talk of winning trophies, Everton are back etc is nonsense but I do think he intends to sort out the stadium. I just worry where it will be.

Hi mate. Agree with most of it except the highlighted bits

Hasn't recently changed name, was at least 6 months ago

My understanding has always been that a charge would only have to be re-registered if it were assigned to a different company, not the same company with it's name changed.

The Isle of Man would only really appeal to anyone not resident in the EU (until Brexit)

Bit nit-picking but quite important (the second one especially)
As I said, I don't know anything about the companies involved. Just taking what was previously said on the thread as gospel.

Agree with your second point. If it was just a change of name they would just need to lodge the appropriate paperwork and wouldn't need a new legal charge. However I'm assuming that they actually set up a new company for purpose, for whatever reason I don't know. Maybe to get it offshore. I just didn't want to make what was already a complex post more complicated. But good spot.

Not sure on your last point mate. Don't think EU or Brexit has anything to do with it. I was never an expert on tax as it's such a complicated area, and it's a few years since I retired so I may be wrong. Don't think so though.

No but he did 'commit' to make additional transfer funds available which we certainly never saw

"I am here to support them as required to ensure that the club recaptures the glory days of the past and builds sustained success in the future.

"I know a lot of you want to know what my plans are. There is much to be done and things for me to learn, but I can confirm that I have committed to providing additional funds for transfers and retaining our key players to ensure that we have a strong core to build on for the future."

I am still quietly optimistic, and most of this window was everyone fighting everyone for average players at crazy prices, it will settle down and we will be able to spend some money on decent players, it all starts with a decent league run from Koeman and the lads which is well within our potential, because if we bought no one and sold no one, we would still have a top 8 squad imo.[/QUOTE]

But you are still assuming the investment was to be made this transfer window, for all we know he may be committed but the investment will be coming once our stadium plans are known. This to me would fit in line with working on a project not a quick fix. I understand concerns but I'm not calling the guy a liar based on what has happened in the few months he has been here.

On another note don't know what the heck happened to your quote, it's not working properly.

Cheers mate - RMF is like a collective vehicle that has funds advanced from Carroch, Kirkton and Mousehole and lends them on to the clubs so is merely a conduit.

The EU bit is because the IOM is a soft touch and there is the tax info sharing to a certain degree with the EU. The Brexit comment was a lame attempt at humour to be honest, although it could become more attractive depending on tax sharing agreements thereafter.

I'm just a miserable old git, so best ignored!!!:)

Think that's to do with tax on interest on savings and the need to declare it within the EU.

This is more to do with assets and domicility.

Getting into a different sphere now though so best to leave it a that. Getting a headache!!

Sorry mate, just doing my tea.

Carroch and RMF are the replacement intermediaries for VIBRAC. Carroch gives anonymity as the Registry in the Isle of Man have no register of beneficial owners, but the corporate service provider signs a declaration to the effect that they know who the owner is.

This is a guess, but something must have changed in the Premier League's perception of BVI vehicles funding clubs and VIBRAC did get into hot water at Reading.

The other company involved with RMF is Kirkton Investments Ltd anther IOM company and the funding through that is for West Ham if memory serves me right.

What did VIBRAC get in hot water for at Reading?

These lending companies are the ones who provide us with the funds to operate over the course of the season in between the TV payments, correct?

Actual Friend Summer is actually over depending on which calendar you choose as your God.

So assuming you use the meteorological calendar we are basically in Autumn, does this mean we should be doing something else?

You've gotten bladdered and texted Jim Whyte?

To each their own like but I reckon you could do better.
