What did VIBRAC get in hot water for at Reading?

These lending companies are the ones who provide us with the funds to operate over the course of the season in between the TV payments, correct?
Can't remember the detail, but basically Reading defaulted on their loan, VIBRAC effectively took control of the club without the fit and proper person test being done, so the club got a suspended fine of 30k from memory. Our old mate Chris Samuelson was involved from memory.

All of the financial accountancy speak is sending my head scatty. Obviously the window was very anti-climatic, but we've got a boss manager in who actually knows what he's doing. What Moshiri brings to the table remains to be seen, we've had far too much bs from arl Bill to put up with any from his 'successor'.

Look at us LADS, all having a fine Friday summer evening sat on the internets talking about Everton loans and budgets.

We're truly elite fans us.

It's what having kids does to you mate, meanehilst I'm sitting outside having a smoke and a beer whilst the wifes inside playing deus ex - living the High life bud!

Sorry if you misunderstood me.

The credit line could only be used for short term relatively small expenditure, such as the £20m reportedly needed to purchase the land on the docks.

The club would most likely employ the services of an Investment Bank to oversee the project. Any long term borrowing requirements will most probably be syndicated (i.e. a number of banks sharing the debt) as the banks would consider it too risky otherwise. Further funds would be generated through advertising, stadium naming rights, corporate hospitality sales, possibly a small amount of grant funding, and I would hope, an element of investment from Mosh given that he should see at least an equivalent upturn in his share value.

To be honest I'm not too sure of the scale of the land we are looking to purchase, but if it's large enough there may be the opportunity to bring in private investors from retail/hotels and the like.

The Russian guy Mosh put on the board has a background in Investment banking and I wouldn't be surprised if he were brought in specifically for this purpose.
Thanks. But all of that, I think, underlines my point that the leaving open of this line of credit isn't something that could be explained away as a source of capital for a stadium build. As you say, land purchase is something that can be covered by commercial partners.
