Personally I'd be prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt in the short term. The last few months looks like a massive over reaction to his arrival here (one he's been milking, like). He's a billionaire in a league where billionaires are thick on the ground.

The stadium needs real progress to make this feller's ownership seem worthwhile - REAL progress though...Peel, LCC all on board and a formal development plan in place. I'd expect that before the next transfer window opens in January. If there's no progress to that degree by then, and we see another parsimonious window, then this feller will stand stark bollock naked as a fake.

This.

We get on with our business on the field in the meantime. But come the new year if there's no improvement, it's full on rebellion

It has been suggested that all debts would be cleared, so its understandable that people are apprehensive to see the RMF facility renewed, but I don't find it surprising. Given that we're looking to finance a new stadium, is it realistic to expect no lending facilities in place? I would be amazed if the new stadium wasn't funded in part by debt.
I did a post yesterday that went down the route of "If FM has put in the rumoured 65m, and if the Pru loan were paid off there would be 40m left after early repayment penalties. The last RMF loan was allegedly paid off May/Jun by the final tranche of Prem money, so given the transfer dealings and the probability that (at worst) the staged payments both ways cancel each other out, there should be 40m left". Now that is fag packet accountancy, so there have been running costs of the club over the summer, but it still leads to the conclusion that the club should be substantially ahead of where it was at this point last year so shouldn't need the facility.
Before anyone pulls me on it, I did forget paying off Martinez and compo for RK et al - say 20mil, but it doesn't invalidate the point.
With regard to the stadium and the requirement for funding, I have no doubt that it will be at least partially funded by debt with (hopefully) a rights issue, so yes, debt will be taken on, but why have a football equivalent of a payday loan as part of your funding strategy?
Just sayin...

People are concerned. Rightly so.

There's no doubt that we have been disappointed, probably due to everyone overhyping things in the first place. There has been no 'Statement of Intent' and the club have been made to look foolish or even naive over the transfer deadline day shambles. If Moshiri had not come in, we could well still have Martinez in charge, we would still have lost Stones and probably Lukaku as well, the defence would still be a shambles and we would all be screaming blue murder.

In my view we have just overhyped what could be achieved or indeed who we were rumoured to sign. I have no problem with our signings because players can pick and choose where they go and we were crap last year and everyone knows we need time to get back on track.

For me, the only statement I want to hear from the club is about the Stadium. This, and this alone will tell us that things are going to change..........

I'm not a billionaire who thinks it's acceptable to fool the fans

So you would prefer Kenwrights back in charge then ? Yes he never fooled us at all did he ?
Listen mate give him chance, how longs he been here 6 months ? Already improvements to the ground and training facility underway. Yes fir
Roll on next Saturday mate and hopefully another good result.

The reaction to the window has been overblown, as has the decision seemingly made by a few on here that Moshiri is now a carpet bagger off the back of it.

Don't think he's a carpet bagger at all mate and much prefer him over Kenwright, we now have the potential to improve, especially after laying the groundwork with a new manager and DOF.

There is also the work being done at Finch Farm and at Goodison Park and we are evidently looking at building a new ground on the docks. So a lot of good work going on behind the scenes.

What I have found annoying is all the talk from ITK's and lots of posters on here about hundred million transfer warchests and the new owner paying off all our debts....This is evidently not true and has built up Evertonians everywhere for a big fall. This may happen in the future, we now have the potential, but it hasn't happened yet as some of our fans would have you believe.

Also a little annoyed at the naivety of our new chairman over the Jim White / Sissoko fiasco, hope he wises up quickly after that and the same with transfer negotiating team.

Discussed yesterday mate. All it will show is the regd office (no change), the nominee directors (no change) the nominee shareholders (probably no change) and a statement to the effect that the corporate service provider knows who the beneficial owner is, plus the fact that there are charges on the company. ;)
