@GrandOldTeam is it possible to have a banner for this thread so we can see our beautiful saviour every time we discuss him
How's this mate?

wonder wummin.webp

You have to ask at this stage is there anything substantially different?

BK had his Philip Green; Moshiri has his Usmanov

I know which one i'd rather have.

BK had his dock scheme which placed Everton's finances under the control of outsiders; Moshiri has done exactly the same

WRONG! Unlike the other projects this is all our funding. No outside influence. The saftey net requires the following years repayment to be sitting in a 'locked' bank account by a certain date. We could make the 2nd payment the day after the first one, once it sits in that account the council have zero input on what we do.

BK used friends in the media for megaphone diplomacy; Moshiri has trodden the same path

I'll give you that one.

BK funded spending largely through recycled player sales; ditto Moshiri

You can't give a bloke 2 windows (including the dreaded Winter one) and say this is what he is going to do. We sold Stones for a lot of money so naturally it looks like we selling to buy. But he said the funds were there for more players we could have easily ended up with Sissoko (what a mistake that would have been) and a net spend. Do you just want us to buy a load of rubbish for millions to show we have cash then when we have 15 players on then bench scooping wages you can then moan about how we bought wrongly. (As i remember you didn't want us to pay so much for Schneiderlin, so which way do you want it???) Until we are looking lile a team on the up devent players will be hard to come by. The next two games will go a long way to deciding if it will be this summer or not.

BK had his blue gravel; Moshiri has his cladding

Exactly the same mate, i remember loads of workers at Goodison installing the gravel for weeks on end. I bet for the price of the gravel we may have just got together enough cash for the planning permission!

I'm sure you are doing this for fun now :)

Yeah, I may be wrong but I seem to remember that the Greggs would have put the money up, but BK didn't want to relinquish control
He's always had that ...'It's my train set' thing.
He'd rather be the fat controller at a run down station at the end of a seldom used branch line, than part of the management team at say...Lime St.

It is worth reflecting as Davek is, that fifteen months into his stewardship our leader has produced a reasonable and exciting plan for Everton, involving the construction of a stadium with little left from half a billion in change, where the current and projected level of his investment will stand at zero pounds zero pence.

So,
Kenwright Invested nowt.
&
Moshiri's Invested nowt

Though he does seem to get more value for his nowt than Kenwright did for his...and he didn't/hasn't - yet load the Club up with debt...we had little or no debt when Bill took over, maybe he was just unlucky being Chairman at the time he was and Moshiri is just dead jammy and came in at the right time.
Maybe If Kenwright hadn't totally done in the collective heads at LCC over the years. AND had the wit to come up with the Moshiri financial Method involving the Council.

Well, there is the likely half billion stadium debt. He very much is loading us with that, for The next 40 years.im not saying I expect Ed him to just wave a magic wand, but we should be mindful he's put no dosh in so far, and if I was a betting man I'd say he'll be gone in the next five with the bast part of a hundred million profit from his good deed at Everton

Apart from £80m like

I see as per usual @davek doesn't answer posts he can't argue against..

I've asked twice now who exactly should pay for the stadium Dave but you just ignore it and go on with your pathetic WUM agenda..

I will ask for a third time.. . Who exactly should pay for the stadium Dave? Everton or moshiri? I for one think Everton should pay as it's their home or will be... I don't expect anyone else to pay for my house.

Moshiri is giving is the most affordable and easy way to pay for a stadium within our means.. or would you rather we pay it off in 5 years at a cost to onfield performance? Because if that happened you would scream blue murder too. Like everyone with an agenda.. reason doesn't work, you are just blinkered.
